WHO DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM

We will collect personal information from you directly, when you provide that personal information to us, including via the website and any related service, through any registration process, through any contact with us (e.g. telephone call or email), or when you buy or use our services and products.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter personal information as name, phone/email or address or information about pool/spa products or equipment, we may be unable to provide some services such as water testing, advice, products etc.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will use your personal information:

Besides our authorised staff, we share this information with reputable software:

• ▲  Xero accounting software to process orders and issue invoices

• ▲  ServiceM8 operational software to issue a quote, placing an order, scheduling the site visit and

  notify client.

• ▲  a person who can require us to supply your personal information (e.g. a regulatory authority)

• ▲  any other person authorised by the Act or another law (e.g. a law enforcement agency)

  PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  The security of your personal information is important to us. We will take reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe from loss, unauthorised activity, or other misuse. We only use reputable third-party software that is compliant with New Zealand legislation to store your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

  ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  We keep your information for a duration of receiving our services, at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing data or updating it upon request. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you at any time. However, we must also ensure we meet our security obligations. You can ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
